Fairchance Construction Company is building the new Dairy Queen Greensburg at 609 New Alexandria Road in Greensburg, PA. Built for longtime franchise owner Dairy Queen of S.W. PA, Inc., the 3,100-square-foot restaurant replaces the original store on the same property. The project reached substantial completion at the end of October 2026, with the opening targeted for early November.
New Construction
From Full Demolition to a Brand-New Building
This was more than a remodel. Our team fully demolished the existing Dairy Queen restaurant, its site improvements, and its utilities. We then rebuilt everything: new site work, new utility services, and a new building constructed from the ground up. Starting fresh gave the owners a modern restaurant designed for today’s operations and a better experience for Greensburg families.
Overcoming Site Flooding on a Tight Schedule
Heavy rain flooded the site a couple of times during construction. Close coordination between our site supervisor, project manager, and trade partners kept work moving and the short timeline on track.
