HILTON GARDEN INN

Fairchance Construction was part of the development team that designed and built this 5-story, 80,960 square feet, 119 room hotel. Construction consisted of Amvic Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) with Helix brand reinforcement and Hambro floor system. This is one of the first projects in the Pittsburgh region to use this type of construction.

This project was recognized as “one of the most innovative commercial developments in North America” as part of the ICF Build Awards program at the World of Concrete trade show in Las Vegas, NV in February 2016 and was awarded 1st Runner Up in the Multi-Family division. In presenting the award, judges cited the complexity of the design, the striking architecture, and the challenges the construction team overcame to set a new standard for the entire ICF industry.
