Project Scope and Design Vision

The primary goal of the Wadsworth Community Hall project was to successfully marry an older building with a modern facility while enhancing both function and visual impact. Fairchance Construction integrated open floor plans, lofted ceilings, glass walls, bold color palette and contemporary materials alongside the existing structure, creating a seamless transition between old and new.

Dedicated office spaces for staff were incorporated to support daily operations and program management, providing efficient, professional work environments that remain connected to shared community areas. The project also introduced state-of-the-art exercise and fitness facilities, allowing community members to come together for wellness programs, group classes, and activities focused on health and personal betterment.

Community Spaces and Collaborative Construction

Flexible public meeting and gathering spaces were designed to accommodate art classes, workshops, educational programs, and community awareness events. Throughout the facility, Fairchance Construction emphasized the artistry of construction, using vibrant color schemes, modern finishes, and carefully selected materials to create an inviting atmosphere that energizes and impresses visitors.

A notable challenge was that the building remained partially occupied and operational throughout construction. Close coordination with the owner and staff ensured continued access to key areas, turning the renovation into a collaborative team effort and showcasing Fairchance Construction’s ability to deliver complex projects in active environments.
